MCIBD is a Continuing Health Education initiative for health care providers who treat patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. MCIBD was started in 2016, with the aim to facilitate collaboration and exchange of evidence-based strategies and guidelines to use in clinical practice. The central focus of MCIBD is to share knowledge by encouraging multidisciplinary discussion and collaborations among health care providers involved in the care of patients with IBD, with a special emphasis on optimizing maternal and neonatal outcomes in IBD. Since 2016, the program has evolved from annual single day conferences, into virtual conferences (due to COVID pandemic), and in 2021, to a series of interactive webinars. We are constantly innovating ways to provide education to health care providers, and we developed this website as a resource for health care providers and also for their patients.
