COVID impacts pregnancy planning and mental health in pregnant women with IBD

It is important to discuss situational events such as the COVID pandemic with our patients. In an anonymous survey led by Dr. Parul Tandon (IBD fellow, Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto), a significant proportion of women with IBD experienced an impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on pregnancy planning and mental health illnesses such as stress, depression, and anxiety.
